Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie Bowl
Happy New Year!! If you need a little burst of nourishment after new year celebrations, this smoothie bowl full of anti-inflammatory goodies!
Have it for a high-protein and balanced breakfast or post-workout snack to refuel and rehydrate after sweating.
Recipe makes 1 bowl
Ingredients
1 frozen banana, sliced
¼ frozen avocado, sliced
½ cup frozen mango, diced
½ cup carrot, sliced
1” fresh ginger, sliced
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 pinch black pepper
½ cup milk (any kind)
Optional: 1 scoop protein powder
Toppings: chia seeds, cocoa nibs, walnuts, shredded coconut, banana
Directions
Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or very strong blender. Add a little more milk at a time if needed - just enough to get the blender moving.
Blend until it is smooth and thick/creamy.
Pour it into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
